Breakout Powder

Yes, BREAKOUT POWDER is a powdered version of a PK liquid.

BREAKOUT POWDER is a very versatile product that can be ran either as a standalone PK booster, with our CLEAN Program or as an additional shaping tool in conjunction with the PREMIUM Program.

BREAKOUT POWDER is used by some growers to increase the size and weight of their flowers by adding it in addition to their standard feed schedule during the last 3 weeks of flower. This technique does increase the yield of a crop, but it can also decrease the quality significantly. For the same reason, you would not run PEAKBOOST at 1 ml per litre in the last 3 weeks of flower. While the flowers would be big in appearance, they would finish unmatured and with diminished potency and flavour.

We will always update and refine our feed programs and marketing material as the game is refined and modernised. As the industry grows and evolves, so do we. It’s all part of the progression.

The best way to mix and add Breakout Powder to your nutrient solution is to pre-mix the measured dosage with a small amount of cold water in a separate jug/container, then, once dissolved, add it to your nutrient solution and mix well.

Example: If you were in week 5 of flower, following the CLEAN Program and mixing 800 litres of nutrient solution, you would measure 400 grams of BREAKOUT POWDER, dilute into a jug/container of approximately 4 litres of cold water, and mix until dissolved. You would then add the mixed nutrient to your 800 litre tank of solution.

This technique is not something that we like to recommend. It does increase the size of the flowers, but it also reduces the quality, potency, flavour and bag appeal of most genetics. Some genetics can tolerate that high amount of PK in the final weeks, but for most it completely ruins the structure, potency and flavour profile.

BREAKOUT POWDER is best used as a traditional PK booster, as directed in our CLEAN Program, or as an additional shaping tool in week5/the 4th last week of flower in conjunction with our PREMIUM Program.

You can use BREAKOUT POWDER in the same flower cycle as Peakboost, FINALEBOOST and BLOOMBOOST, but not at the same time. Adding additional P, K or PK additives to a nutrient solution in addition to Breakout Powder is simply too much and would provide no benefit.

The CLEAN Program is, as the name suggests, a clean style of feeding program. This program was designed for modern cultivators running hydroponic and or fertigation systems where they are limited to the inputs they can use. For most modern cultivation facilities, their systems and procedures don’t allow for the increased mess and cleaning that comes with organic inputs. The same applies for rockwool, deep water culture and recirculating hydroponic growers, they simply can not introduce organic inputs into these systems/environments.

It’s for this reason that the CLEAN Program does not use MASSBOOST, STARTBOOST, PEAKBOOST or BLOOMBOOST. They’re simply too dirty to be used in modern cultivation facilities running fertigation systems.

Small and large cultivators that are operating fertigation systems report great results with no negative effects by incorporating our bio-stimulants (STARTBOOST & BLOOMBOOST) as a once per week additive to the CLEAN Program, but as an everyday supplement, it’s simply not viable.

For coco, peat and soil growers mixing fresh feed or running short reservoirs with run-to-waste irrigation methods, the PREMIUM Program still produces the highest quality flower with the most genetic expression possible.

For commercial facilities running fertigation systems, rockwool, DWC or recirculating hydroponics, then the CLEAN Program is the most effective, cost efficient, pH stable nutrient program on the market.
